Technologies Explained

This section  of the Community renewable Energy Toolkit discusses the variety of technologies that have been employed by community groups across Scotland. The principles of how the technology works is provided along with the key issues regarding installation and operation. Case studies for each technology are referenced and in Annex 2. Further information regarding installers, ROCs (Renewable Obligation Certificates) and FITs (Feed In Tariffs) are introduced.
