Our Members

Community Energy Scotland has as its members a growing number of community organisations based throughout Scotland who are developing renewable energy projects to benefit their local communities.                                                                          

Members of Community Energy Scotland agree to share their experiences of developing their projects with community groups based elsewhere in Scotland. Community Energy Scotland has a key role in facilitating that knowledge and experience transfer between Scottish community groups. The company actively supports communities to work collectively to become more sustainable, to reduce their carbon emissions and increase their energy production from renewable sources.  

Members are also able to access additional resources through the Members Area of this website which provides them with information and tools and further equip them to fully develop their projects to a successful outcome.

 Community Energy Scotland offers two categories of membership,

• Full Members which are all non profit-distributing community organisations
• Associate Members which are companies, agencies or inviduals who are keen to support our aims
