Changes to Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Order

Community Energy Scotland has recently responded to DECC and Scottish Government's consultation on the rebanding of ROC rates.  In our response 

• We  propose that hydro ROC rates are to remain at 1 ROC and not be cut to 0.5 ROC
• We propose that wind ROC rates remain at 1 ROC for projects under 10MW in size
• We propose there is a longer grace period allowed and for any delays to projects that are outwith the control of the developer
• We wish to have greater clarity on CfD before we can comment on its impact on the community/rural sector
