With over 20 speakers and two days of information and debate, there is still time to book your place on Scotland’s Community Renewable Energy Conference 2012.
The event starts on Tuesday 6th November with headline speakers Fergus Ewing MSP, Scotland’s energy minister, and Ian Marchant, the Chief Executive Officer of Scottish and Southern Energy.
Over twenty external speakers complete the line up which includes Judith Patten, doyenne of the ALL-ENERGY conference phenomenon and Iain Robertson of Smartest Energy. The conference is sponsored by wind turbine manufacturer Enercon.
Conference places for representatives of community organisations and charities cost £24 and include all sessions, and the conference dinner. Travel bursaries are also available for community groups wanting to send representatives. Students and jobseekers can also attend for just £24.
Delegates will be able to try out an electric Segway and there are still a few spaces left for the Scottish and Southern Energy headquarters tour.
