Highland Renewable Energy Conference Imminent

shrec logo landscape bluewebready450The Scottish Highland Renewable Energy Conference (SHREC), run by solictors' firm Harper Macleod is scheduled for the New Drumossie Hotel in Inverness next Thursday - 26th April.  The cost to attend is £120 inc VAT.

Energy Minister Fergus Ewing, who is an avid supporter of local and community ownership and benefit from renewable energy projects, will give the keynote speech.  The event is now in its third year and is now established as a major opportunity to exchange views and learn of the latest developments.

Community Energy Scotland will be represented by Felix Wight.  Felix has experience in projects developed by communities in partnership with commercial developers and will cover financial models for these developments.

More confident communities and savvy developers are getting together for mutual benefit.
