List of Microgeneration Accredited Installers
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. It is designed to evaluate microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria which provides greater protection for consumers.
To apply for a microgeneration grant, you will need to use products and installers accredited through this scheme. To assist grant applicants there is a list of those accredited installers who are based in or operate in Scotland. The Microgeneration Certificate Scheme Small-scale Accreditation List can be obrtained from the Energy Savings Scotland website here. Your installer should know which products are accredited. Please note that the installer list changes frequently.
Further information and how to apply to be accredited, including the full installer and product lists for the whole of the UK, can be obtained at www.microgenerationcertification.org within the Information for Home and Business Owners section.
