Gwen Barrell
Powerdown Officer, Knoydart Foundation
Gwen is a director of Knoydart Renewables, a wholly owned subsidiary of Knoydart Foundation. The Foundation manages Knoydart's hydro scheme, a unique community-owned electricity supply company not connected to the national grid. Gwen has also been working as a Community Powerdown officer, working on a wide range of carbon-reduction projects including home renewables, insulation, biomass awareness and the trialling of an electric vehicle.
