Our Board
The Board of Community Energy Scotland is made up of elected and co-opted Directors.
Elected Directors are nominated and voted in by Community Energy Scotland's Members at its Annual General Meeting. Co-opted Directors are then invited by the elected Directors to join the Board to bring in additional skills and experience. Each Director brings to the Board a wide range of experience and expertise, from community development, banking and financial expertise, grid and technical knowledge, international work, social enterprise, academia and many other skills, all directly relevant to the work of Community Energy Scotland. Community Energy Scotland's AGM took place on Tuesday 6th November 2012 at the Salutation Hotel in Perth during Community Energy Scotland's annual conference. The two nominatees were Carola Bell and David Cameron who were duly re-appointed to the Community Energy Scotland board.
Copies of Community Energy Scotland's Annual Accounts 2011-2012 were distributed to Members.
A Special Resolution presented to Members was also passed to change the definition of Community Energy Scotland's Operating Area. Full details below
At the board meeting following the AGM, Angus Hardie, Craig Campbell and Graham Ault were duly re-coopted to the board for a further term. Carola Bell was re-appointed Chair and Graham Ault was re-appointed Vice Chair.
